Description
mAlb Fast Test Kit (Immunofluorescence Assay)
The mAlb Fast Test Kit is a quantitative immunofluorescence assay designed for rapid detection of microalbuminuria (mAlb) in urine samples. It serves as a valuable early marker for kidney damage, particularly in patients with diabetes or hypertension, and provides quick results for timely clinical intervention.
Key Advantages
- Early Kidney Damage Detection: Detects low levels of urinary albumin before overt proteinuria
- Fast Results: Delivers quantitative results in just 3 minutes
- Cardiovascular Risk Indicator: Helps identify early-stage diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive renal injury
- Simple Sample Type: Uses non-invasive urine samples
- Stable Storage: 4–30°C with a 24-month shelf life
About mAlb
Microalbuminuria is the presence of a small but abnormal amount of albumin in the urine. It is an early sign of glomerular injury and kidney disease, particularly in patients with diabetes or hypertension. Since albumin normally does not pass through the glomerular membrane, its presence in urine reflects increased membrane permeability and early kidney damage.
