Getein hs-CRP+CRP Fast Test Kit (Immunofluorescence Assay)
The Getein hs-CRP+CRP Fast Test Kit is designed for the quantitative determination of C-reactive protein (CRP) in human serum, plasma, whole blood, or fingertip blood samples. This test is useful for detecting and evaluating infections, tissue injuries, and inflammatory disorders. It also measures high sensitivity CRP (hs-CRP), which can be used alongside traditional clinical evaluations for acute coronary syndromes (ACS) to serve as an independent marker of prognosis for recurrent events in patients with stable coronary disease or ACS.
Intended Use
This kit is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of CRP in various human blood samples. It helps detect and evaluate infections, tissue injuries, and inflammatory disorders.
About hs-CRP+CRP
C-reactive protein is an acute-phase reactant that is produced in the liver in response to infections or tissue injury. It measures general levels of inflammation in the body, and hs-CRP detects lower concentrations of CRP in serum or plasma. hs-CRP levels are correlated with atherosclerosis and acute myocardial infarction, serving as an inflammation marker for ACS patients. It helps in primary prevention and risk assessment of cardiovascular disease, and is more accurate when combined with the total cholesterol to HDL-C ratio.
