D-Dimer Test Kit

D-Dimer Test Kit

GP Diagnostics D-Dimer Test Kit offers rapid, quantitative detection of D-Dimer in plasma or whole blood. Ideal for DVT and PE screening within 7 minutes.

Description

D-Dimer One Step Test Kit (Colloidal Gold)

The D-Dimer One Step Test Kit utilizes colloidal gold immunochromatography for the rapid quantitative detection of D-Dimer in human plasma or whole blood. Designed for use with the FIA8000 Quantitative Immunoassay Analyzer, this test aids in evaluating suspected cases of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), especially in emergency and clinical settings.

Key Advantages

  • Rapid Screening: Delivers results within 7 minutes
  • High Negative Predictive Value: Effectively rules out DVT and PE
  • Convenient Testing: Simple procedure using plasma or whole blood
  • Stable Storage: 4–30°C for up to 24 months
  • Broad Clinical Utility: Supports diagnosis in thrombotic and coagulation disorders

About D-Dimer

D-Dimer is a protein fragment produced during clot degradation, serving as a marker of fibrinolytic activity. Elevated levels are commonly associated with conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and disseminated intravascular coagulation. A negative D-Dimer result can confidently exclude venous thromboembolism in suspected cases.
